Ahead of the upcoming EP, teenage pop artist Julia Juno offers an honest look at moving on in her new single, “Forever.”
This single turns the pain of one chapter closing into an anthem for healing. Based on an experience with an extraordinary theatre group, “Forever” is an ode to the unforgettable reflections she shared and how she carries them with her.
“I wrote this in honor of a theatre group that I used to belong to,” says Juno. “We made such an amazing show together, and it was one of the most special times of my life.”
The song teaches the listener a lesson that’s hard to accept, but essential to hear: the best times don’t last, and the only way to appreciate new moments is to go forward. “I felt safe with them and haven’t been able to replicate the same feelings I had with that group again. But I realized, like other great times of my life, things move on, people move on, and I have to as well.”
