Trinity Bliss has kindly taken the time to chat with Fierce & Fabulous Revolution regarding the journey behind “Forever Fool” and you can find the full interview below.

Hey Trinity, thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me today. Many people will know you from playing Tuk in the Avatar franchise & from songs such as “Will They Won’t They” & “You Make Me Wanna Dance”. When did you first discover your passion for music & acting?

Trinity: It’s always been in me. I don’t remember the moment of first discovery. Maybe it started with the first local musical theatre camp I went to, where I was the youngest member at 5 ½ years old and played a maid/fork in Beauty and the Beast. Maybe it started when I naturally started writing songs around 5 or 6 years old. I still have those voice memos or old notebooks about space dolphins or a song called “I love my puppy” about my imaginary puppy. God bless iCloud. I have thousands and thousands of voice memos from over the years haha.

You just released your sophomore album, ‘Forever Fool’, which sounds truly amazing. How did the idea for this album come together?

Trinity: Around a year ago, I was going through different songs I’d been writing, and I truly saw myself in those songs. They felt like an arc and a piece of my heart. They capture who I am right now. I wanted to put them in an album. I didn’t want them to just belong to me. I wanted to share them with the world. I hope my fellow teens will be able to relate, see themselves in these songs, and have fun with them. I feel like a fool and I’m a forever fool. The journey started there.

I absolutely love the name of this album. What inspired you to choose the name ‘Forever Fool’?

Trinity: I had a totally separate song called “pink lemonade” that I scrapped, but in that song I called myself a fool with the realization that I’m a forever fool. “Forever Fool” just stuck with me. Those two words grew to mean so much to me. When wrapping up this collection of songs, I realized I wanted it to be the title of the album. One day, at 2 a.m., I found myself feverishly writing this title track called “forever fool.” I wanted to sum up everything that I was trying to say in this album and what the title means to me. That’s the lore!

This album takes inspiration from everything people face growing up, such as first crushes, chronic overthinking, fairytale expectations, and the journey of discovering who you are. What did it mean to you to have this as the foundation for this album?

Trinity: It means a lot to me cause it is me. I am going through those firsts, being crushed by the crush, being an overthinker disguised as a romantic, self-doubt, existential crises, and wanting to break out and live a little. This album captures that piece of me. The chaos. The mess. The hope. The wonder of it all. It’s crazy it can live on forever now, and I’ll always have that time capsule. Still, I’m not just a fool. I’m a “forever fool,” haha.

Each song features its own unique sentiment and stands out in its own way, but if you had to pick, which are some of your favourite songs on this album?

Trinity: Wow, you’re making me choose between my children. The drama! The trauma! Haha, jk. Each of these songs means something to me and means so much to me. I love them all for their own reasons. Still, if I have to choose, today… “forever fool,” “once upon a time,” “things,” and “cirque du soleil” are so dear to me and hit home. They speak to who I am at this point in my life right now.

Were there any songs that did not make the album that we could see released in the future?

Trinity: So many. So many. We’ll see what happens. I am really excited for what’s gonna come next. I might already be “on the move”… 😉

What are some of the key inspirations that you hope listeners will be able to take from the album?

Trinity: I hope it makes them feel something. I hope they see themselves in these songs. I hope to move them, emotionally and literally. I hope these songs live in their lives, whether it’s alone in their bedroom, doing homework, coming back from a date, getting ready, hanging with friends, school dances, in the car, parties, beach outings, processing their feelings… I just hope that these songs get to be a part of their lives and they have fun with them.

What does this album personally mean to you?

Trinity: When I wanted to make this album, I didn’t realize everything it would involve and everything I’d go through. The fact that it is now finished, released, and out in the world is a huge milestone for how much I’ve grown as a person and an artist.

We touched briefly at the start of this interview about first discovering your passion for music & acting, but what does it mean to you to see how far you’ve come from the first moment you discovered your passion to where you are now?

Trinity: That little girl had no idea! I want to tell her everything’s gonna be okay. I know 26-year-old me will tell 16-year-old me the same thing. I want to tell her to keep dreaming big, and when there’s a will, there’s a way.

If you could offer anyone advice about pursuing a career within the entertainment industry, what would you say?

Trinity: If you want it, go for it! Trust yourself. You don’t need anyone or anything because you’ve got you. Believe in yourself because you’ve got this. As Miley Cyrus would say, “It’s the climb.”

Finally, is there a message that you would like to share with the readers of Fierce & Fabulous Revolution?

Trinity: Stay fierce, stay fabulous, stay fast, stay furious, and stay forever fool.
