Tokyo-based alt-rock singer-songwriter Sarina shares the dark and haunting new single “Obsession”!
This latest release centres around an obsessive cycle of toxic love. The song serves as a reminder to listeners that sometimes what you think is love, can quickly become an obsession.
“Sometimes we just need a reminder. It’s not love, it’s not need, it’s a sickness we were foolish enough to idolize as a paragon of twisted love,” says Sarina.
Combining edgy, dark alternative sound with sharply observant lyrics, the song centres around the journey of a minor sentiment spiralling into and all-consuming unhealthy obsession. Sarina presents a variety of confronting lyrics that keep you fully engaged and highlight her charismatic creativity as an artist.
