When did you first discover your passion for music?

Beck Black: I first discovered my passion for music when my mom enrolled me into piano lessons at the tender age of nine after my parents divorced.

What does music personally mean to you?

Beck Black: Music is the universal language that speaks to us all and brings us together within the melodies and harmonies.

Did you always dream of following a career within the music industry?

How would you currently describe your music style?

Beck Black: Rock n’ Roll.

Your album “Hollywood Blvd” has caught the attention of listeners & critics alike. How did the idea for this album come together?

Beck Black: As a writer, you compose what you know. A few years ago, I lived in the Hollywood hills and wrote about Hollywood as a character. The album begins with helicopters and the road map to Hollywood with the song “Hollywood Blvd” and ends with the lyrics “the end” from the song Life’s a Circus”.

What are some of the main influences that formed the creative process of this album?

Beck Black: Life in tinsel town (Hollywood).

If listeners could take something from this album, what would you like it to be?

Beck Black: A joyful appreciation for a genre that seems to be slipping away into the ethers of pop dust.

How do you feel that your musical journey has evolved since the release of “Hollywood Blvd”?

Beck Black: I have so much more music to release of all genres.

What are some of the things that we can anticipate seeing from you during 2023?

Beck Black: The “Electric Cowgirl” Classic yet Futuristic Country album and the Dream Pop genre single “Airplane Mode”.

If you could offer advice to someone who was looking to pursue a career within the music industry, what would it be?

Beck Black: Be YOU! Be who YOU want to be. To be or not to be is not the question…just BE!

Finally, is there a message that you would like to share with the readers of Fierce & Fabulous Revolution?
