Following the release of the reflective single “Worthy”, independent Bangladeshi-Canadian electro-pop musician Premanition has unveiled the brand new single “Mars”!
This musical release is the third instalment of Premanition’s full-length electro-pop concept album with a corresponding novel about love, grief, and fighting for what you stand for, which is set to be released in 2023.
Speaking about the new single, Premanition said “I wrote Mars because sometimes I feel like I’m stranded on an island, and nobody understands me except one close friend or family member. In that moment, I wonder if we could sail away, or fly off on a spaceship to a magical place. A place where we wouldn’t feel so misunderstood.”
This latest release is about not belonging, save for that one person who believes in you, & the private escape of being misfits together.
The song features a variety of orchestral elements, which draw towards a dramatic flourish that lightly reflects the lyrical heart of this ear-catching composition by journeying between lonely & valued.
Throughout this song, Premanition delivers a vibrantly heartfelt performance that echoes the emotional essence of this artist’s beautifully moving vocals & lays tribute to the expressively stirring lyrics of this single.
