Characteristic girl group MARA have unveiled their compelling version of Philip Vella’s acclaimed record “X’Jimpurtani“.
During the classics night at the second edition of Mużika Mużika – Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija, one of the duets that everyone was talking about was that of “X’Jimpurtani” featuring Philip Vella and the girl group MARA. The joy and positive energy on stage were not only felt in the venue but also in people’s homes, courtesy of a live broadcast on Television Malta.
Originally performed by Philip Vella, the song was originally published by the YTC as part of the compilation album accompanying the 20th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu, back in 1995.
Throughout the release, this talented collective produces a stunning performance that highlights the distinct artistic beauty behind each of their majestic vocals while joining together to create a stellar sound that truly stands out.
I believe that this group possesses an extraordinary artistic gift that has the potential to create an influential impact on a global scale. Mara is definitely a girl group to watch in the music scene.
