PREMIERE: Nicole Marden Unveils The Official Video For “Obsession”!

Born & raised in a small town in Northern California, Emerging country-pop songstress Nicole Marden has swiftly caught the attention of music enthusiasts through her heavenly vocal harmonies & charismatically acclaimed musical style.

Not long ago, this gifted artist released the country-pop influenced anthem “Obsession” that was co-produced by Nicole and her band members David Gray, Nick Carico and Sean Lumibao. “Once the pandemic hit, we decided that we would start producing our own songs and I couldn’t be more proud of how they turned out,” says Nicole. “I guess you got to look at the silver lining in everything.”

She continued “The song is inspired by that feeling you get when you aren’t quite ready to date seriously after a heartbreak, but miss those butterflies from a new crush. It’s also about letting go of resentment of love not going your way and just having a little fun without the pressure of expectations.”

Now, Nicole has kindly offered Fierce & Fabulous Revolution the opportunity to unveil the official video for this future summer anthem.

Filmed by Nashville-based videographer Rachel Deeb (who also produced Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini music videos) the video was shot in LA, with Nicole’s entire band driving across California & staying in an Airbnb for 2 days

Speaking about the music video, Nicole said “When we arrived at the studio, the entire space was better than we all imagined. The lighting was so professional and magical. Rachel was an absolute dream to work with and she made us feel so comfortable! We all felt like we were in a dream.”

She continued “The crazy part about that video was, I was convinced it would not actually happen due to the roller coaster of closures due to the pandemic. California was far behind many other states for travel/lodging/dining reopening and as soon as things would start to open back up, they would close again. But a week or so before the road trip, everything started to open back up and to my disbelief we actually got to do the music video!”
