During 2021, Larisa has steadily been building towards the release of her highly anticipated debut EP & has now released the final single from this EP in the form of “Move On”.
Speaking about her latest release, Larisa said “I think most of the time when we think of break-ups we think of this sad, really heartbreaking time. But the truth is, it doesn’t always happen that way! Sometimes we realise that we’re stuck in a trap, in a bad relationship that seems to be playing on a loop and we decide that enough is enough. It’s time to ‘Move On’. “
She continued “This song is about realising that the situation you’re in isn’t the situation you want, about doing what’s right for you and putting yourself and your happiness first. All of my songs are personal and are usually about situations I’ve been in – this song is no different. I just woke up one morning and realised, this isn’t what I want my life to look like. And I think it’s so brave and powerful when a woman (or anyone) takes a look around and decides to take the plunge and make a change for the sake of their own happiness”.
This latest single features a profoundly engaging mid-tempo pop melody that beautifully reflects the empowering energy behind the lyrical nature of the ear-catching musical release.
