Hey Raylee, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. Can you start by telling the readers a little bit about yourself?

Raylee: Generally, I’m a happy girl just living my life the best way I know how to. A hardworking girl with big ambitions and highly set goals! I’m always caring about others and I work out every day trying to stay in good shape.

When did you first discover your passion for music?

Raylee: Childhood! Music has always been a big part of my life ever since the very first beginning.

Have you always known that music was a career that you wanted to pursue?

Raylee: Yes always. And it still is.

A few months ago you competed in Melodi Grand Prix 2020 (The Norweigan selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest) with the song “Wild”, how did the idea to take part in this year’s selection come together?

Raylee: I love the concept of Eurovision and I love being on stage so when I got the chance it was a very easy decision to make. We had an awesome song in “Wild” and it all came together with my producers that I have been working with for 8 years.

How would you describe the experience of taking part in the selection?

Raylee: A super fun experience! I love everything about it! Working together with my team and being part of such a professional production is super cool.

What would you say are the chances that we could we see you returning to the selection again the future?

Raylee: All good things come in threes, don’t they? I have been part of MGP 2 times now.

You have just released the brand new single “Unspoken”, which sounds amazing by the way. How did the inspiration for this song first come together?

Raylee: Thank you! A good team, making room for feelings to flow combined with awesome songwriters. That is how this song was born.

How have your family & friends reacted to the song?

Raylee: I’ve received a lot of positive feedback. I think that many can relate to the song. Especially in times like these.

If listeners could take anything away from this song, what would you like it to be?

Raylee: Strength and maybe clarity. The best thing to do can sometimes be the hardest choice to make. I really love this song.

What are some of the things you enjoy outside of music?

Raylee: Dancing, working out and painting! Being around friends and family means a lot to me.

If you could perform a duet with anyone on the planet, who would you choose?

Raylee: Kylie Minouge.

What is one song you always keep on your playlist & why?

Raylee: What now” by Rihanna. She has been a big musical inspiration ever since I was a child.

What advice would you offer someone looking to pursue a career within the music industry?

Raylee: Work hard and believe in yourself! Use the ups and downs to learn from and let that make you stronger. It is a big industry with so many different things you need knowledge of so don’t be afraid to ask others for help.

Finally, is there anything you would like to say to the readers of Fierce & Fabulous Revolution?
