Interview & Review: Chrissy Releases The Brand New Single “If You Love Me”!

Chrissy is an upcoming singer-songwriter from Germany who recently released the heartfelt single “If You Love Me” that is set to be included within her forthcoming debut EP ‘The Other Day’.

This gifted artist has kindly taken the time to speak with Fierce & Fabulous Revolution about her recent single release & has also given me the privilege of reviewing this stunning track.

Hey Chrissy, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. Can you start by telling us a little bit about yourself?

Chrissy: Thank you very much for giving me the chance to participate in this interview, too! I am Chrissy and I am a young female singer/songwriter from Germany. I’m 18 years old and as you may already know, music is my biggest fascination, and I spend most of the time writing and composing songs.

When did you first discover your passion for music?

Chrissy: I always was interested in music and I was singing when I was younger, too. Later I got into the music school band where I discovered more and more my musical taste. Then I started with writing songs 3 years ago.

Have you always known that music was a career that you wanted to pursue?

Chrissy: I didn’t always know that I wanted to pursue a musical career. It all happened with time, as more as I worked harder and became professional the more I wanted to get better in what I was doing. This is also how the dream of being a full-time musician came. Now I can’t see myself doing anything else than this.:)

How would you describe your musical style to someone unfamiliar with your music?

Chrissy: I would describe my music style as a combination of modern and nostalgic vibes. It includes pop and rock facettes and it is always very various. I love to add new influences to my music and it all depends on the inspiration I got.

You recently released the single “If You Love Me”, which sounds amazing by the way. How did the idea to create this song come together?

Chrissy: Thank you!! I’m really glad that you like it! Well, in the beginning, the idea of this song wasn’t the idea it ended up being. I was playing guitar and the song included an almost completely different text back then. After that, I’ve got some pictures in my head and then I’ve written the chorus. That was the moment I knew the song was going to be a song about soulmates. It was pretty easy after that to come up with the verses. What I knew from the beginning was that I wanted to make the song sound emotional and romantic. As I’ve written the song, I wanted to make the people identify with my experience.

What does the song personally mean to you?

Chrissy: “If You Love Me” does have a very important meaning to me. It is about the idea of finding and hoping for your soulmate. It shows the hope that you have while you are searching for something in life. The song is also a dedication to beloved persons.

How did your family & friends react to your recent release?

Chrissy: My family is proud of “If You Love Me” and of me. They adore this song and listen to it all the time. I was very surprised that also my friends sent me some sweet messages and they said the song sounds beautiful. It feels nice to be supported by the people near to you.

If listeners could take away anything from this song, what would you like it to be?

Chrissy: My wish is that the listeners can take away the positivity of “If You Love Me”. I want to give them hope that someday they are going to find their special person called soulmate. They should be aware this isn’t impossible and that they are not alone on this journey. I hope “If You Love Me” is going to bring people together.

Are there any further releases planned that you are currently able to tell us about?

Chrissy: Yes, there is currently a new release planned and I’m very happy to share this with you. Unfortunately, I can not tell you the name of this song because it should be a surprise. I only can tell you, the new song is going to be released this winter and this track takes a significant place in my life.

What are some of the things you enjoy outside of music?

Chrissy: I spend an amount of time working on music but when I have some free time I love to go out for a walk or to work out. I enjoy going out with my best friends or to spend some time with my family.
