This year has been an incredible year of song releases, with many songs getting us up to dance, or bringing a tear to our eyes with their meaningful lyrics. So I thought it would be a fun idea to rank my top 100 songs released in 2016!
Today, I am bringing you the first ten songs of my rankings. Just to mention, this list is not ranked my chart performance or sales, just my personal opinion (Sorry if you don’t like it, but hey can’t help the songs I love). The rankings are very hard to place, and I love every single songs on this list. I will be sharing this list on two of my blogs (PopThatMusic & Fierce & Fabulous Revolution), so do not worry if you think someone is copying.
100. Millionaire – Digital Farm Animals & Cash Cash Ft Nelly
Kicking off my top 100 is “Millionaire” by Digital Farm Animals & Cash Cash Ft Nelly. I first heard this song on the TalkTalk FX Star before X Factor, and can’t stop listening to it!
99. This Is What You Came For – Calvin Harris Ft Rihanna
Next up is Calvin Harris & Rihanna, with the song “This Is What You Came For”. A very catchy beat and certainly and song to help you get in a dancing mood.
98. Great Escape – TINI
Next up is “Great Escape” by TINI (Martina Stoessel). A very upbeat song, with a very catchy melody, which will have you singing along all day. If you have not listened to it yet, then certainly give it a listen.
97. Hair – Little Mix
The first of a few Little Mix songs to appear on this list. “Hair” is a really catchy song, with it being a really feel good song, it ccertainly is a song I can’t stop listening to.
96. Girls Like – Tinie Tempah Ft Zara Larsson
Next up is the fabulous Zara Larsson & Tinie Tempah, with “Girls Like”. Certainly a song worth dancing along with.
95. Broken Record – Krewella
Next up is the amazing Krewella, and “Broken Record”. Krewella always bring it with their music and never fail to deliver. “Broken Record” is a very catchy song that you really can’t help but sing and dance along to. If you have not heard it yet, then you should 100% give it a listen.
94. Million Reasons By Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is such a talented singer, is there anything she can’t sing? Her new album is just incredible so this won’t be the only song you will see on this list. “Million Reasons” is such a brilliant song and one I keep putting on replay.
93. Young & Restless – Dolly Style
One of my favourite bands. This is not going to be the only songs of theirs on this list (Not even sorry). “Young & Restless” is certainly a song that will have you up and dancing, and if you love a feel good song that you can dance along with, certainly check it out.
92. Always – Samantha Jade
Samantha Jade is such an incredible singer. I’ve been following her music since she won The X Factor Australia, and she always delivers amazing and catchy songs. “Always” is song one you should check out.
91. La La – Laura Marano
Laura Marano is such a brilliant artist, with such a lovely unique voice. This song will not be the only one of hers you see on this list. “La La” certainly has such a catchy beat, and really suits Laura’s voice incredibly well.
