Hey Yasmina, thank you so much for this interview. Can you start by introducing yourself to readers who might be unfamiliar with your music?
Yasmina: Hey! Thanks so much for having me 🙂 My name is Yasmina Cherelle, and I’m a singer, songwriter and actress.
When did you first discover your passion for music?
Yasmina: I discovered my passion for music when I was around three years old, I fell in love with singing and music very early on.
How would you currently describe your musical style?
Yasmina: Pop, Soul, R&B, with occasional dance elements.
You recently released the new single “Liberate Me”. How did the idea for the song come together?
Yasmina: The idea came after healing from a particular time and learning to trust myself more, and wanting to comfort and uplift others, and also inspire people to trust themselves too.
This song centres around healing, self-trust and finding your way back to your own strength. What did it mean to you to put this into a song?
Yasmina: It meant so much to be able to share this moment through my music, and as part of my journey where it can now always be heard by others who might relate or enjoy it.
What does this song personally mean to you?
Yasmina: The song means we grow, come back to our truth, and reach a lot of wisdom as we heal.
What message would you like listeners to take from this song?
Yasmina: I want listeners to feel uplifted, to trust themselves, and to feel supported through their own journey.
Do you have any further releases planned that you can currently share with us?
Yasmina: I’m currently working on new music with a unique twist which I’ll be able to share more about soon! 🙂

Yasmina: My message is that I want people to feel seen, heard, empowered, and to believe in their ability to achieve great things. And my next London show is Monday 24th August at The Half Moon in Putney!
