Liza Vassilieva has unveiled the brand new uptempo single “Go All In”, which is the official anthem for Lillehammer Vinter Pride 2023, marking her first release since competition in Melodi Grand Prix 2020.
”My experience from the MGP gave me a kick to start pushing myself more creatively,” Liza says. “I had plans to travel, have songwriting sessions, release new music and do live shows. Instead, I was stuck at home when the pandemic put everything on hold.”
She continues “After a while, I started to collaborate with other songwriters and producers online, which is how the collaboration behind “Go All In” started. I was contacted by a team of songwriters who pitched me a demo song and asked me if I wanted to release it under my artist’s name. I thought it was really cool to get an opportunity like that, so naturally, I agreed to be part of this exciting project,”
Co-written alongside Ylva Persson, Linda Persson, Rickard Bonde Truumeel, & Bruce R. F. Smith, this latest release is a motivational song about standing up for who you are and living your life to the fullest.
The song is chosen to be the official song of Lillehammer Vinter Pride 2023. The festival has been organized annually since 2019 and has featured many well-known Norwegian artists such as KEiiNO, Erlend Bratland, Margaret Berger, Synne Vo, Rune Tønnessen, Magickal Era and Duo Fierce. Previous official songs of Winter Pride have been “Light It Up” (2021) by Rune Nathaniel and “Love Melts Ice” (2022) by Daniel Mauricio.
Lillehammer Winter Pride is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year and will be held on 21-26th February. The full program and tickets will be available on the official website of the festival (https://www.vinterpride.no/).
