Charismatic singer-songwriter Gabriele Kysel has unveiled the brand new single “Lover Boy”, which is this gifted artist’s second single of the year & is a moving piano ballad lamenting lost love.
This latest release was written by Gabriele Kysel, produced by Gabriele Kysel & Jean-Luc McMurtry at VLV Media and Records, mixed by Jean-Luc McMurtry, & mastered by JD Moon. The song was inspired by relationships that end on a positive note, but also with heartbreak.
Throughout the track, listeners are treated to a host of emotional keys, that swiftly build into an epic soundscape of indie pop heartbreak.

Hey Gabriele, thank you for this interview. Can you start by telling readers a little bit about yourself?
Gabriele: Hi! Thank you for interviewing me! I am Gabriele, nice to meet you! I am a singer-songwriter.
When did you first discover your passion for music?
Gabriele: When I was about 4/5 years old!
How would you currently describe your musical style?
Gabriele: My current musical style is pop/indie-pop.
You just released the new single “Lover Boy”. How did the idea for the song come together?
Gabriele: The idea originated from hearing my friends go through situationships and them talking about them.
Did you always plan to release “Lover Boy” as a single?
Gabriele: When I first wrote it, I didn’t know it would become a single, but it did, and I am glad it did!
What does this song personally mean to you?
Gabriele: This song has a lot of hard work put into it, so for me, I appreciate the whole process of this song getting created.
If listeners could take anything away from this song what would you like it to be?
Gabriele: That it is okay to feel hurt, even if things didn’t end on a bad note.
What advice would you offer to someone who was looking to pursue a career within the music industry?
Gabriele: You need to believe in yourself before anyone else does. Patience, lots and lots of patience. And handle everything with wisdom, be wise, be smart!
