REVIEW: The Rasmus Release The Brand New Single “Rise”!

Following on from representing Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. The Rasmus have unveiled their brand new single “Rise”.

Taken from their forthcoming album of the same name, “Rise” was co-written alongside Desmond Child & centres around the struggle of fighting a battle against depression.

The song features an energetic rock instrumental that lays a solid foundation for the raw emotion within the lyrics to take centre stage & connect with listeners on a natural level.

Throughout the video, dancers portray roots that symbolise an evil force trying to pull you down, which echoes the lyrical core of this ear-catching composition.

This song features an important message about not giving up in your darkest moment & carries a host of relatable lyrical notions. I can honestly see this song making an influential impact & creating an effect on the music scene.
