Rising Nashville based singer-songwriter Halle Kearns has been creating a flourishing impression throughout the global music scene with her vibrantly ear-catching musical style that has led to her swiftly surpassing over a quarter of a million streams on Spotify alone.
Now Halle Kearns is about to wow the music world once more with the highly-anticipated debut EP titled ‘Finally’, which will be released on the 11th December.
Halle has kindly taken some time to speak with Fierce & Fabulous Revolution about the release of her forthcoming EP. You can find out what she had to say below.
Hey Halle, thank you for agreeing to this interview. You are about to release your debut EP ‘Finally’ on December 11th. How did the idea to create this EP come together?
Halle: Thank you so much for chatting with me again! I’ve been actively working towards releasing music for the last few years. I feel like it wasn’t until 2020, however, that I actually found my voice as an artist. When these 5 songs came together it felt like the perfect initial representation of who I am and what I want to say, so I decided to release them as a cohesive project!
What are some of the biggest inspirations behind the songs featured on the EP?
Halle: I hit on a lot of topics between these 5 songs, so I think they’re each pulling from separate inspirations. Some are inspired by heartache, some by love, some by my closest friends and family. But what they all have in common is that they’re all pulled from my real life experiences and stories!
What are some of your favourite songs to feature on the EP?
Halle: My favorite song on the EP kind of changes day-to-day depending on my mood! However, I think my all-time favorite is “Shoes to Fill” because it’s all in honor of my best friend – my dad!
How did your family & friends react to the EP, or have you been keeping it a surprise?
Halle: Most of my closest friends and family knew about the release ahead of time. However, I don’t think that took away the excitement for any of us! I truly have the best, most supportive people around me.
What does this EP personally mean to you?
Halle: This EP feels like a breath of fresh air and sigh of relief simultaneously haha. I have been working for almost 5 years to get to this point, and I am so beyond ready to lay my heart out in this way!
If listeners could take away anything from the EP, what would you like it to be?
Halle: I hope they listen and feel like they have a new friend in me. I want nothing more than to connect with people through these songs!
Are there any songs that did not make the final tracklist for the EP that we could see being released, at a later date?
Halle: I have a lot of things planned out for 2021… let’s just say I’ve been writing a lot lately 🙂
