Review: Joey Clarkson & Two Ways Home Collab On Brand New Single “One More For The Road”!

Rising country music star Joey Clarkson has teamed-up alongside the internationally acclaimed folk/rock duo, Two Ways Home to release the brand new single “One More For The Road”!

This track features Canadian-born Clarkson, Anglo/Austrian duo Lewis Fowler & Isabella Marlee, and Clarkson’s British husband, Peter Dixon, who is a serving member of Her Majesty’s forces.

The inspiration behind this song was from the divide caused by COVID-19, and how the collaborators thought it was ironic, yet fitting, that they all came together from different parts of the world to end up finding each other.

Speaking about the release, Clarkson said “‘One More For The Road’ was born out of our frustration at the 2020 lockdown, and – instead of honing in on the negative aspects of life in lockdown – focuses on looking forward to the days we can all go back out and spend time with friends that we might have lost touch with. It’s a feel good song to sing along to at the top of your lungs.”

Lewis Fowler – one half of Two Ways Home – continued “The track is an upbeat, harmony-driven, road trip anthem that pairs well with artists like Lady A, Mumford and Sons, Kieth Urban and Gone West.”
