Not long ago, Malta announced the 16 songs that would be taking part in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

All the songs in my opinion are brilliant, however I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you my personal top 5 songs from the selection!

Please note, these songs are not ranked in order. I hope you enjoy!

  1. Seconds Away – Jade Vella

One of the catchiest songs I have heard in a while. “Seconds Away” is a song that you won’t help but fall in love with!

Jade’s voice is absolutely amazing, and fits perfectly for the song. I genuinely can’t stop listening to the song because of how incredibly catchy it is, and I think Jade will be one to keep an eye in the selection.

  1. Follow – Kevin Borg

One of the most beautiful and enchanting songs from the selection. “Follow” is a mesmerizing song, with heart warming lyrics, that I can’t help but love.

Kevin has such a fantastic voice, that no one could deny, and I think this is a match made a musical heaven. Kevin will 100% be one of the one’s to watch in the selection, and could be a possible winner.

  1. Unstoppable – Brooke

With such a powerful melody and catchy lyrics, it asks the question. Will Brooke be “Unstoppable”?

Brooke has such a powerful voice that just pulls you in, with any song that she sings. This a fantastic song, with a fantastic singer, which could be an “Unstoppable” combination in the selection.

  1. Bombshell – Maxine Pace

This song will make you want to dance along from the very first listen. With it’s catchy melody, and Maxine’s amazing voice, what can’t you love about it?

From the first listen all I want to do is dance and sing along. With Maxine’s sassy voice & “Bombshell” catchy beat, this song is certainly going to be another one to watch in the selection.

  1. Tonight – Deborah C & Josef Tabone

One of the sweetest songs ever! “Tonight” is a lyrical masterpiece, with two singers whose voices just harmonise perfectly together.

Another song that I can’t stop singing along with has got to be this one. I think this is the perfect song for Deborah & Josef, and with their beautiful voices, this is surely going to place well in the selection, and could possibly a winner.
