Jordan’s latest single “Reckless” represents the next evolution of his sound: groove-forward pop with emotional edge. Born in a session with Grammy-nominated producer Emile Ghantous and writer Sam Sznd, “Reckless” was originally crafted as a pitch for another artist. But when they heard it back, it was clear: this song had to be his. “It just hit too close to home. That rush of falling hard, maybe even a little too hard, for someone who makes you feel a bit unhinged—in the best way,” Jordan says. “We wanted it to feel singable, emotional, but fun and addictive. That late-night-drive, scream-the-lyrics kind of track.”
This latest release is an R&B late-night pop anthem that captures the impulse of falling fast for someone who makes you feel a rush of emotions.
“Reckless” builds on the momentum of Jordan’s previous release “Cherry” (with fellow Idol alum Ajii), further defining his unique lane in the pop landscape: emotionally intelligent, melodically infectious, and unafraid to blur genre lines.
