REVIEW: Adult Leisure Share Their Brand New Single “Dancing Don’t Feel Right”!

Upcoming Bristol-based alt-indie quartet Adult Leisure shares their brand new single “Dancing Don’t Feel Right”!

The track follows November’s acclaimed release ‘Kiss Me Like You Miss Her’, which saw support from BBC Radio 6’s Indie Forever show, The Line Of Best Fit, Fresh on the Net and multiple Spotify editorial playlists. Their August single ‘Borderline’ was used to open an E4 Made In Chelsea episode, their first national TV sync placement.

Recorded and mixed with Ollie Searle at Humm Studios and mastered by John Webber (David Bowie, Duran Duran, Coach Party), this latest release centres around giving into the urge to break out of the norm and do your own thing.

Speaking about their new release, they shared “We wanted to create a track that asks listeners to step out of line, ditch their inhibitions, and give in to the temptation of doing exactly what they shouldn’t. It’s a narrative of inner conflict, desire and rebellion. The track captures the feeling of being on the edge: stuck in a moment where you know you should hold back, but something – or someone – won’t let you. ‘Dancing Don’t Feel Right’ is our way of ignoring responsibility, silencing the voice of reason, and giving in to the forbidden thrill of indulgence. The song is about the urge to let loose, to break out of the mould and do the bad thing.”

This latest release combines vibrant and dynamic energy with a driving bassline to create an ear-catching sound that instantly grabs your attention and leaves you wanting more.

Throughout this song, this talented band deliver a performance that highlights their distinct artistry and showcases the charismatic qualities of the expressive vocal harmonies they possess.

Overall, this is another example of the distinctive alt-indie sound listeners of Adult Leisure have come to admire, marking another chapter of this band’s ever-evolving musical journey.
