Following the release of “Oh Girl”, singer-songwriter Katy Hurt shares the brand new remix of the standout single “Revved Up”, which brings all the summer vibes.
This release is a vibrant & dynamic reimagining of Katy’s 2019 hit, which has now been remixed by Gangstagrass, Rench & features R-Son The Voice of Reason. The newly imagined version of this song harnesses the original country roots that Katy brings to the table while incorporating bluegrass & hip-hop sounds.
Speaking about the collab, Katy says: “Touring with the guys from Gangstagrass was one of the best experiences of my musical career. I’ve never felt so loved or had so much fun on the road. Every single night we were matching energies, hyping each other up and just generally hanging out and playing songs together and we’ve been talking about doing something like this ever since. I’m so excited that Rench and R-Son were up for making this collaboration finally happen and I’m even more pumped that it’s finally going to be out in the world for everyone to hear”.
The song blends a variety of genres to create an ear-catching sound that reflects the originality of each musician while creating something unique & extenuating to their soundscapes.
Katy provides a stunning vocal performance that reflects the expressive nature of her vibrantly charismatic harmonies, which help elevate this already classic song to another level.
