Australian indie sensation Stefan West has just released the third single, “Slow Down World”, from the upcoming album, ‘Cambridge’.

Mastering, ‘Slow Down World’ is a moving exploration of the human experience when the pursuit
of self-improvement collides with the overwhelming chaos of life.
In Stefan’s own words, “Slow Down World is about when self-help goes too far. It’s about trying
absolutely everything that you hear might make you feel better, but you still feel stuck. it’s about
trying your absolute best and it still not feeling good enough and just need the world to slow
down for a moment to catch your breath, because every moment feels like you’re on the verge of
crumbling”.
This latest release centres around the challenges of managing mental, physical, & emotional health, experiencing the highest of highs & the lowest of lows.
This mid-tempo song carries elements of indie-rock, punk-rock, & folk to create a characteristic instrumental that plays its part in emphasising the dramatic nature behind the lyrics.
In my honest opinion, Stefan provides an emotionally drawn-out performance that emphasises the deep connection to the lyrical foundation of this latest composition.
