Norweigan singer-songwriter Raylee has garnered support across the globe through highly praised anthems such as “Wild” & “Hero”. Now, this talented songstress returns with her most dramatic & dynamic song to date, “Charade”.
After years of working on her individual & collaborative writing skills, Raylee returned to Sweden & her friends at Hydra Studios in Malmo (Where both “Wild” & “Hero” were born) to collaborate alongside several teams of writers & producers from across Scandinavia to focus on Raylee’s vision for 2024. During the year, we will see a variety of singles embarking from Raylee, with the first being “Charade”, co-written alongside Emmelie de Forest (DK), John Emil Johansson (SE), & Angelino Markenhorn (SE).
Speaking about the song, Raylee shared “In a world filled with illusions, ”Charade” is a journey through the maze of a false reality. It’s a reflection on the constant struggle of discerning what’s real and what’s not in the midst of this elaborate charade we find ourselves in.”
This latest release serves as an empowering representation of Raylee’s emotionally stirring songwriting talents & the way she is able to create & share a story. The song slowly builds into a utopian soundscape that reflects the journey we undertake to discover ourselves through false realities set by society & ourselves.
