REVIEW: Rainlights Unveils The Double Single “the girl beneath the surface skin”!

Following the release of singles “Mazzy Star Reminds Me Of You” & “How Does It Feel?”, Highly acclaimed singer-songwriter & producer Rainlights unveils the double single “the girl who sits beneath the surface skin”.

This alt-pop record includes two brand-new songs, “Brand New Sneakers” & “Forgive”. Each song was written during the same period when Rainlights went on a journey of discovering how to let go of situations, not in their control.

Each song represents a different avenue of Rainlights musical artistry, while “Brand New Sneakers” visions a charismatically charging instrumental that lets the producer inside take centre stage. “Forgive” expresses an immense lyrical undertone that lets the songwriter side lead the way.

During “Brand New Sneakers”, listeners experience an alt-pop-influenced instrumental that creates an atmospheric tone with immense detailing capturing the lyrical attributes.

Then we venture onto “Forgive”, which carries a steadily pacing alt-pop production that allows the lyrical heart to be the main focus of this song & connect with listeners on a variety of levels.

Each song highlights the distinct tones of Rainlights’ impeccable vocals & lays the way for two cinematic performances that listeners can experience over & over again.

These two releases are another exciting chapter of Rainlights musical artistry & are a must for all alt-pop music lovers out there. There are some incredible things ahead for this gifted musical star & I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next!
