Country-rock group Jess & The Bandits have unveiled their unique take on Brenda Lee’s famous festive classic “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree”.
Jess & The Bandits recorded their version of “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” in her home city of Houston, Texas & is a duel release alongside “White Christmas”. Speaking about the release, Jess said “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree is one of my all time favourites. It’s one of those ‘drop everything and get up and dance’ type of songs, and I think the added slice of country makes it even more so… With White Christmas, I wanted to slow things down again. This actually isn’t an official recording, Josh and I recorded it a couple of years ago and it has been gathering dust in a folder. I realised how much I loved this version and had to get it out there…”
