Eden James has joined forces alongside The Outkast remix team of Brian Paturalski and Chass Guthrie to release the remix version of “Something Called Love”!
“When the idea of doing a dance remix was first presented to me, I didn’t give it much thought. I feltthat music like mine, largely centered in the rock tradition, wouldn’t translate well to other genres,” James said. “But then I remembered collaborations between rock musicians and dance andelectronic producers that really worked, like Teddybears and Iggy Pop on the song ‘Punk Rocker.’That cross-genre collaboration kept all the raw, underground edge of the rock song and Iggy’svocals, and wrapped it in the EDM/pop production that Teddybears is known for.“
This latest version incorporates the charismatic elements that Eden’s vocals possess & allows him the chance to venture a new musical journey that highlights his creative talent.
The remix provides Eden James to bring a distinct sense of musical creativity, which allows listeners to see more from the artist behind the music.
