Review: BLACKPINK Release Their Stunning New EP ‘Kill This Love’!

BLACKPINK have released their highly anticipated brand new EP titled ‘Kill This Love’!

This latest release features 5-tracks, including a remix of the worldwide phenomenon “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, because you can never have enough of a good thing!

The lead single from the EP “Kill This Love” features a fierce beat that captures your automatic attention from the very listen & will have you dancing along asap!

The next song featured on this EP “Don’t Know What To Do”, features a more relaxed vibe that speaks about the emotions you feel when you know the person you want to be with most isn’t right for you & although you feel that you’ve just made the biggest mistake of your life, you know it’s the best thing to do in the long run.

Following on from a song about a broken heart, we move onto “Kick It” that speaks about kicking out anyone who doesn’t respect you & takes your love for granted. The song delivers a fiery energy that features the passionate spirit that we continue to love from these talented ladies.

Next up we get to see a softer side to BLACKPINK by showcasing the delicate & emotional undertones behind their vocals, while delivering a raw & natural performance that helps to capture the meaning of the song, which focuses on regretting a love lost & hoping they find someone perfect for them, but not to the point where they forget the time they spent with you.

I feel that this EP helps each member to show the incredible vocals that each of them possesses, by giving us a sense of the fierce & sassy energy that we have come to love from these talented ladies to the softer more emotional side that helps you to feel more of a deeper connection with the lyrics behind the songs.

I think it’s safe to say that BLACKPINK has once again delivered a fiery new variety of songs that helps to showcase their incredible musical talent. I highly recommend giving this a listen!
